If you need a place to rest for the night this place does the job and is affordable. Pros - The bedroom is very nice, clean and has hotel vibes with a kettle/bru kit, small fridge and a smart TV. The bed and bedding is comfortable and i slept well. There is a sink and mirror in the bedroom. Check in and out was simiple, via codes sent from the owner. (I didnt see anyone while staying there it was all remote including security via cameras in the ground floor hall) WiFi is good even on the top floor. Cons - This is bed only not bed and breakfast so you will have to make feeding plans prior to arrival. The showers were cold and still cold after running them for a while (this was raised to the owner and i was assured someone has checked for a fault in the past with no resolve, however having lived in a house similar the only way to fix this would be to fit them with electric showers. General points - There is an iron and board available in the hall. The shared ablutions (2x shower, toilet and sink) are on the middle floor and you are provided with a dressing gown, I would advise, bring some slippers or flip flops. The TV is not connected to anything apart from WiFi so you will need to login to netflix or similar to watch anything. There is a resturaunt 2 mins round the corner and there is a short 15/20 min walk into town. In summary Very basic but comfortable and clean transit room / guesthouse not a hotel. I would look at what else is available before selecting this one again due to cold showers and lack of breakfast but i would stay here again.

Just want to say I had a tremendous experience with this accommodation as a whole. I was in a position where I needed somewhere to stay urgently, and saw the reasonable prices on Booking.com, and thought I'd stay here for a few nights until I got sorted. Firstly, the room was in terrific condition. Clean towels, linen and decent beds. Nice comfy decor too. It's very hard out there to find the right place at the moment, hut the host/owner Joan, is such a lovely and accommodating lady. I ended up staying there for 10 days until I got myself sorted, and she was constantly making sure I was loaded up with fresh towels, bedding and coffee. I had a great experience with her and the place as a whole. Would 10/10 recommend. And the prices were more than reasonable. Thank you Townhouse number 12, and so much time for the host, Joan.

Nice guesthouse, very very clean and comfortable. I was in a twin room with a large desk and chair where I could use my laptop during the day. Tea/coffee facilities also in the room. TV, fridge, fan, hairdryer also available in the room. Ironing board and iron were available if required. Small sink in the room although shower and toilet was along the hallway. Credit to the owner of the guesthouse as this clean to a high standard and tasteful decorated. Carpet throughout the guesthouse were so clean they looked brand new. Entrance to the main door is by key code and all rooms have a key code box with separate room key inside. On arrival, call the number on the door you will receive a message with the access code to the main entrance and your room key lock box. I was staying here doing some work in the area, would I stay again? Definitely yes. Parking outside the guesthouse is permit only but across the road is a carpark very well lit up at night and tge cost was only £3.95 for a 24hr stay. Walking distance to the town centre and easy access to any main driving routes.

Our room was very clean, cozy, warm and quiet. We got a proper rest in our comfortable beds. We had a wee fridge, desk, flat TV, WIFI, a sink in a room, big mirror, armchair, and a window with a nice view of the town. Very short distance to a bus station, railway station. Aldi was just 7 minutes walk from the hotel opened till 10pm. 3 toilets, 2 showers extremely clean and spotless. I do recommend this place to everyone who needs a quiet place to rest and be in the centre of the town. Love it

I arrived at the townhouse and felt like home. This is my third stay here. My room was lovely and clean, fresh clean bedding and towels. Room was an ideal temperature. Joan supplies dressing gown, fridge, hair dryer iron and ironing board. There is a fridge in the room along with a fan. I had an excellent night's sleep. Joan greeted me in the morning and meade me feel welcome as always. I will be going back again. They provide you with plenty of coffee/sugar and milk. A wonderful stay. Thank you Joan.
